Police said an investigation is underway after a man was found after sitting in a parked car along Frankford Avenue in the Mayfair section of Northeast Philadelphia after he had been shot multiple times. <\/p>\n

According to police, first responders to a report of a person with a gun, along the 5000 block of Frankfort Avenue at about 10:45 p.m. on Thursday, found a man siting in the driver’s seat of a parked Buick Lacrosse suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n

The man, police said, was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition. <\/p>\n

At the scene, investigators said they recovered 13 spent shell casings. <\/p>\n

However, police did not immediately provide further information on the victim, how the shooting occurred or any details of suspects in this incident. <\/p>\n

But, an investigation into the shooting is ongoing, officials said. <\/p>\n
