{"id":176759,"date":"2026-04-26T18:37:23","date_gmt":"2026-04-26T18:37:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/176759\/"},"modified":"2026-04-26T18:37:23","modified_gmt":"2026-04-26T18:37:23","slug":"historic-pittsburgh-neighborhood-hosts-festival-to-welcome-nfl-draft-visitors-wpxi-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/176759\/","title":{"rendered":"Historic Pittsburgh neighborhood hosts festival to welcome NFL Draft visitors \u2013 WPXI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 Neighbors in Pittsburgh\u2019s Hill District are holding a community festival to welcome visitors for the NFL Draft.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cA Taste of the Historic Hill\u201d has transformed a portion of the neighborhood\u2019s main street corridor (Centre and Wylie Avenues) into a cultural experience featuring carnival rides, crafts, apparel and style vendors, music and food trucks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Some booths are being run by local kids as a way for them to help grow the businesses.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cWe knew that we wanted to make sure that opportunities were given. The NFL is here right now. They\u2019re having a huge draft and some of us got to participate but there\u2019s only so many spots. So what do you do with the overflow?
