Police said an investigation is ongoing after a man was killed in a stabbing that happened along Wadsworth Avenue in the Cedarbrook section of Philadelphia’s East Mount Airy neighborhood on Tuesday morning. <\/p>\n
According to police, the incident happened at about 7:23 a.m. when a man — who police did not immediately provide further identifying information on — was stabbed on the roadway along the 1500 block of Wadsworth Avenue. <\/p>\n
The man, officials said, was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced at about 8:21 a.m. <\/p>\n
At the scene on Tuesday morning, NBC10’s cameras captured images of police tape in front of Wadsworth Pizza, which was shuttered, as officers investigated the area. <\/p>\n
Police have said they have no motive yet for this slaying and no arrests have yet been made. <\/p>\n
But, an investigation is ongoing. <\/p>\n
