Rain now, more tomorrow: Two impact days for Pittsburgh<\/p>\n

Up to an inch of localized rain is possible by Wednesday around western PA.<\/p>\n

EVEN AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM CAN\u2019T BE RULED OUT AS WE HEAD INTO WEDNESDAY. ANOTHER IMPACT DAY. ONCE THAT SYSTEM ROLLS THROUGH, IT COOLS US DOWN ON THURSDAY, BUT WILL BE PARTLY CLOUDY. WE\u2019RE GOING TO NOTICE A BIT OF A DIFFERENCE THERE IN THE TEMPERATURES, BUT THIS RAIN IS WEAKENING AS IT MOVES INTO OUR AREA. THAT\u2019S SOME GOOD NEWS. THERE WERE A FEW THUNDERSTORMS THERE INTO OHIO AGAIN, CONTINUING TO PUSH JUST A LITTLE SOUTH OF OUR VIEWING AREA. BUT ALL OF ALLEGHENY, WASHINGTON, GREENE AND FAYETTE DEALING WITH SOME STEADY RAIN NOTICE, SOME POCKETS OF HEAVY RAIN JUST A LITTLE SOUTH OF MORGANTOWN, BUT STEADY RAINFALL INTO THE MORGANTOWN AREA AS WE SLIDE ON UP TO OUR COUNTIES NORTH. ANOTHER BATCH OF SOME MORE STEADY RAIN JUST COMING INTO LAWRENCE AND BEAVER, ALSO BUTLER EXTENDING UP INTO MERCER AND VENANGO. SOME LIGHT SHOWERS JUST PUSHING INTO CLARION AND ARMSTRONG. PARTS OF INDIANA. SO IMPACT DAY TODAY AND TOMORROW. BUT NOTICE THIS DARKER SHADE OF GREEN THAT\u2019S AN INDICATOR OF A MARGINAL RISK FOR A STRONG THUNDERSTORM TO DEVELOP, MEANING POTENTIALLY SOME DAMAGING WINDS, SOME SMALL PEA SIZED HAIL IN THIS BOX IS CHANGED FROM YESTERDAY. IT\u2019S NOW EXTENDING UP INTO ALLEGHENY. PRETTY MUCH ALL OF WESTMORELAND, SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF INDIANA NOW INTO CAMBRIA AS WELL. AND HERE\u2019S WHY. SO HERE\u2019S THE RAIN THIS MORNING. THIS IS 6 A.M. WE\u2019RE STILL GOING TO HAVE RAIN SHOWERS, SOME POCKETS OF HEAVY RAIN AT TIMES AFTER EIGHT, 9:00, STILL A LITTLE BIT THERE INTO CLARION ARMSTRONG AND INDIANA. BUT MOST OF US ARE DRYING OUT. SO ELEMENTARY KIDS ARE HEADING TO THE BUS STOP. SHOULD BE RELATIVELY DRY, JUST SOGGY. WE\u2019LL NOTICE THESE CLOUDS BREAKING UP. SMALL CHANCE FOR A STRAY SHOWER IN THE EARLY AFTERNOON, BUT AS KIDS GET HOME, IT\u2019S GOING TO BE A GREAT DAY TO GET OUTSIDE AND ENJOY THE FRESH AIR, BECAUSE WE ARE GOING TO SEE MORE RAIN COMING IN AS WE HEAD INTO EARLY WEDNESDAY.
