Northampton County residents could have different polling places this election, after a redistricting plan was approved to improve efficiency and and better distribute voters.<\/p>\n
The redistricting plan, which was approved by the Court of Common Pleas, was created to reduce crowding or combine districts, according to a news release from the county. Several municipalities now have more districts and some districts have been consolidated into a single, updated polling location.<\/p>\n
Residents affected by the changes were mailed updated voter registration cards with the new district and location.<\/p>\n
