Police investigating deadly motorcycle crash in Glenmont<\/p>\n
GLENMONT, N.Y. (WNYT) \u2014 Bethlehem Police said a motorcyclist was killed after a crash with an SUV in Glenmont.<\/p>\n
Officers responded on Monday, April 27, to a crash at the intersection of Route 9W and Magee Drive in Glenmont involving a vehicle and a motorcycle.<\/p>\n
Police said the preliminary investigation indicates a SUV traveling south on Route 9W collided with a motorcycle traveling north on Route 9W.<\/p>\n
Police said the 53-year-old driver of the SUV was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.<\/p>\n
The motorcyclist, 19-year-old Delmar resident Mason Ruggaber, was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
Bethlehem Police said the crash remains under investigation to determine contributing factors and all parties are cooperating.<\/p>\n
