Multiple Smokey Bones locations across Pennsylvania, including the Erie restaurant near the Millcreek Mall, appear to have permanently closed.<\/p>\n

The Erie location at 2074 Interchange Rd. has a \u201cWe are permanently closed\u201d sign on the entrance, as of Tuesday afternoon. A former employee stated that the restaurant has 48 hours to move out.<\/p>\n

So far, no statements have yet been released regarding the closures. However, Smokey Bones parent company, FAT Brands Inc., had commenced a voluntary Chapter 11 proceedings in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court within the Southern District of Texas. The full statement can be found online here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
