When investigators got there, they found a man who was locking up the property for the evening.<\/p>\n<p>Officers checked the entire property and did not find any evidence of an active shooter or any other criminal activity, police said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p>Bethlehem Township police and Northampton County Sheriffs assisted at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>There is no threat to the public, and police said the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Palmer Township police are investigating a false report of an active shooter that was made Tuesday afternoon.
