Tours will be hosted at the 1868 farmhouse at the Historic Dreibelbis Farm in Virginville 2 to 4 p.m. on Sundays, May 17, June 21 and July 19.<\/p>\n
Docents will lead visitors through the unremodeled Civil War era house.\u00a0 In addition to featuring the Victorian-style furnishings and some items going back to the original 18th century log home on this site, the tour will highlight the vast Native American artifacts collection of items found on the farm.<\/p>\n
A special feature will be added each month.<\/p>\n
On May 17, visitors can also learn a bit about old-fashioned Pennsylvania Dutch gardening and have an opportunity to plant some seeds to take home.<\/p>\n
On June 21, the tour features mementos, stories, and artifacts relating to some notable members of the Dreibelbis family who grew up on this Virginville farm.<\/p>\n
On July 19, an additional focus will be on antique farm wagons and equipment as used on Pennsylvania farms in the late 19th century.<\/p>\n
A Sunday Open House will be held on Sept. 20.<\/p>\n
There is a $6 tour fee.\u00a0 On-site parking is free.\u00a0 The tours will be held rain or shine.<\/p>\n

Fiona Flanagan of Exeter Township won the Pennsylvania Miss Amazing Jr. Teen pageant, an empowerment program for girls and women with disabilities. Garden party<\/p>\n
Berks Encore will host a Garden Party on May 14 at the Reading Public Museum. Tickets are $75 per person. Guests are invited to wear their favorite spring outfit and enjoy an evening of music, hors d\u2019oeuvres, raffles and opportunities to support Berks County seniors. Trout rodeo<\/p>\n
The Daniel Boone Optimist Club 25th Annual Trout Rodeo is set for May 9 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the South Birdsboro Archery Rod and Gun Club. In case of severe weather, the date will be May 16. Pet loss support<\/p>\n
A Christian pet loss support group will be held at St. John\u2019s Reformed Church, 4001 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, on May 11 at 6:45 p.m. Sessions are led by Dr. Becky Frank, associate veterinarian with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice.
