Penn State Behrend will be hosting their annual Trash to Treasure Sale on May 16 at the Junker Center. This sale benefits United Way of Erie County and gives the community the opportunity to purchase and donate gently used items.<\/p>\n
This yearly tradition combines affordability, sustainability, and charitable giving within a singular event. This event hopes to somewhat prevent reusable gently used items from being added to the landfills when they could be passed on to different hands.<\/p>\n
All items at the sale will follow a negotiation style meaning that the buyers can suggest a price to volunteers who will either accept or negotiate the offer.<\/p>\n
Admission for the event is as follows:<\/p>\n
$5 Early Bird Admission (CASH ONLY): 7:30 a.m. until 9 a.m.<\/p>\n
Free Admission: 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.<\/p>\n
Fill-A-Bag for $5: 11 a.m. until 12 p.m.<\/p>\n
