Two men are in custody after leading police on a chase that began with a home break-in in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, and ended with a crash in Montgomery County.<\/p>\n
Police said two men broke into a home in Springfield, Delaware County. The owner was home at the time, called 911 and the two men took off in their white Jeep. <\/p>\n
“These two suspects cut a screen window on the rear of a house on Yale Avenue, entered the property, went up to the second floor and were confronted by the homeowner,” Springfield Police Lt. David Ditrolio said. “Upon seeing the homeowner, they turned around and fled out into the Jeep.”\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police tracked the vehicle down in Haverford and tried pulling it over.<\/p>\n
The Jeep didn’t stop and instead sped off before crashing into a pole at the intersection of City and Lancaster avenues in Lower Merion on the border of Philadelphia.<\/p>\n

The two men \u2014 a 26-year-old and a 27-year-old \u2014 jumped out of the car and ran in different directions.<\/p>\n
Police captured one of the two men quickly. A short time later, an officer arrested the other suspect near Lankenau Hospital.<\/p>\n
The two suspects are from Philadelphia and are being treated at a hospital for minor injuries suffered in the crash.<\/p>\n
No one else was hurt.<\/p>\n
Police said the men will likely be charged with burglary and other offenses.\u00a0<\/p>\n
