HARRISBURG, PA \u2014 A Lackawanna County man was sentenced this week to five to 10 years in state prison after pleading guilty to possessing child sexual abuse material, Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday said.<\/p>\n

Lucas E. Kelsey, of Moosic, was sentenced Tuesday by a Lackawanna County judge to 5 to 10 years in prison, followed by six years of probation, according to the Office of Attorney General.<\/p>\n

Kelsey pleaded guilty in October to felony charges filed last year by the Attorney General\u2019s Child Predator Section.<\/p>\n

Authorities said agents executed a search warrant at Kelsey\u2019s home in March 2025 and recovered 201 files of child sexual abuse material stored on hard drives.<\/p>\n

Under the sentence, Kelsey will be required to register with law enforcement for 15 years following his release from prison.<\/p>\n

\u201cPossessing child sexual abuse material is not a victimless crime, and this prosecution and sentence should make clear the severity of this heinous conduct,\u201d Sunday said in a statement. \u201cDownloading and viewing this material is child abuse.\u201d<\/p>\n

The case was prosecuted by Deputy Attorney General Kimberly Moraski and the Office of Attorney General\u2019s Child Predator Section.<\/p>\n
