{"id":181190,"date":"2026-05-01T13:06:18","date_gmt":"2026-05-01T13:06:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/181190\/"},"modified":"2026-05-01T13:06:18","modified_gmt":"2026-05-01T13:06:18","slug":"armed-and-dangerous-suspect-wanted-for-shooting-inside-bensalem-restaurant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/181190\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Armed And Dangerous&#8217; Suspect Wanted For Shooting Inside Bensalem Restaurant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA \u2014 Bensalem Police are seeking a Yardley Borough man for firing shots inside a township restaurant on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Bensalem Police responded Monday to Asad\u2019s Hot Chicken at 2568 Knights Road for a report of a gunshot fired inside the bathroom. <\/p>\n<p>Police officers found a hole in the wall and bullet fragments on the floor. <\/p>\n<p>Bensalem Police Detectives reviewed CCTV footage from inside the restaurant and utilized township intersection cameras and License Plate Reader (LPR) technology. <\/p>\n<p>Police identified the suspect as 19-year-old Landon McMahon of Yardley, who fled the scene in a newer-model Infiniti sedan.<\/p>\n<p>Police have obtained an arrest warrant for McMahon, charging him with Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Firearms Not to Be Carried Without a License, and other related offenses. <\/p>\n<p>The Middletown Township Police Department later attempted to conduct a traffic stop of McMahon while he was operating the Infiniti sedan; however, he fled from police. <\/p>\n<p>McMahon should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
