Police are searching for a 19-year-old man accused of firing a gun inside a Bensalem restaurant Monday, authorities said.<\/p>\n
Through their investigation, Bensalem detectives identified Landon McMahon of Yardley, Pennsylvania, as the suspect of firing a gunshot inside the bathroom of Asad’s Hot Chicken, located on Knights Road in Bensalem Township, on April 27, 2026.<\/p>\n
Officials said when they arrived at the restaurant, they found a hole in the wall and bullet fragments on the floor.<\/p>\n
As part of the investigation, detectives reviewed CCTV footage from inside the restaurant and used township intersection cameras and License Plate Reader (LPR) technology to identify McMahon as the suspect.<\/p>\n
Police said McMahon drove away from the scene in a newer-model Infiniti sedan.<\/p>\n
Bensalem Police obtained an arrest warrant for McMahon, charging him with recklessly endangering another person, firearms not to be carried without a license and other charges.<\/p>\n
According to officials, the Middletown Police Department tried to conduct a traffic stop on McMahon while he was driving an Infinity sedan. But he fled from police.<\/p>\n
Police said McMahon should be considered “armed and dangerous,” and urged the public not to approach him and to contact police immediately.<\/p>\n
