APPOMATTOX COUNTY, Va. (WSET) \u2014 A pair of teens from Appomattox County who have been missing for weeks amid a criminal investigation have been located in Philadelphia and taken into custody.<\/p>\n

We’ve reported on the disappearances of Zoey Anderson and Anthony Wirth, who went missing in August. Anthony and Zoey were dating, and on their flight from Virginia they were involved in a police chase. But they were able to get away from the pursuit at the time, managing to elude capture for weeks.<\/p>\n

Both their families spoke to ABC13, worried for their safety and wanting them to come back home. Previously, the Appomattox County Sheriff’s Office had obtained a warrant against Robertson for felony-unauthorized use of a car, and a warrant against Wirth for violation of a court order.<\/p>\n

It’s taken weeks for law enforcement to find them, but on October 27, the Appomattox County Sheriff’s Office announced they had been found in Philadelphia.<\/p>\n
