The sentence was handed down by Judge Trucilla.<\/p>\n<p>The charges stem from a drive\u2011by shooting on Dec. 17, 2024, at the corner of 31st Street and Liberty Street, where Boone opened fire on a group of teenagers. Investigators said neither victim is believed to have been the intended target.<\/p>\n<p>Court records show Boone had been riding in a vehicle that drove through the city searching for the group before the shooting occurred.<\/p>\n<p>Following the attack, Boone posted a rap video online in which prosecutors said he taunted the victim\u2019s family and bragged about the shooting.
