Firefighters recovered the body a Muhlenberg Township man found floating Saturday morning on the Schuylkill River in the township.<\/p>\n
Emergency crews were called shortly before 8:30 a.m. to the 3900 block of River Road, below the Felix Dam Recreation Area, after someone spotted the body.<\/p>\n
Muhlenberg police arrived and confirmed the sighting. Township Fire & Rescue personnel rook command of the operation, launching its rescue boat. Shoemakersville Fire Company also launched a boat.<\/p>\n
The person was found be to deceased and the body was taken ashore within 30 minutes and later pronounced dead by a member of the Berks County coroner\u2019s office.<\/p>\n
