TALKING ABOUT THE WEATHER. IT WAS SUPER COLD THIS MORNING, BUT THINGS WARMED UP. WARM UP THIS AFTERNOON WITH THE HELP OF SUNSHINE. BUT THE CHILLIEST MAY 3RD. WE\u2019VE HAD IN QUITE SOME TIME. THE MORNING LOW TEMPERATURE WAS 33. THAT WAS THE COLDEST START TO MAY 3RD SINCE 1995. SO A COLDER START TO MAY 3RD IN 31 YEARS. WE DID WARM UP TO 60 THIS AFTERNOON. SO A BIG IMPROVEMENT OVER YESTERDAY WILL CONTINUE TO SEE A BIT OF A WARMING TREND INTO THE EARLY PART OF THE WEEK, NEAR 70 TOMORROW, 72 ON TUESDAY. AND THEN TEMPERATURES WILL START TO TREND COOLER MID WEEK AS WE INCREASE OUR CHANCE TO SEE SOME RAIN SHOWERS. THE MIDDLE PART OF THE WEEK. I WANT TO STRESS NO DAY IS GOING TO BE A WASHOUT, BUT WE\u2019LL HAVE TO BE DODGING SOME RAIN SHOWERS AT TIMES, ESPECIALLY WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. RIGHT NOW, TEMPERATURES HAVE COME DOWN A TOUCH FROM THOSE HIGH TEMPERATURES 58 IN CRANBERRY AND BUTLER, RIGHT NOW 59 IN GREENSBURG, UNIONTOWN\u2019S 5759 IN MORGANTOWN, STILL 61 IN BEAVER. AND YOU CAN SEE JUST PATCHY CLOUDS ACROSS THE AREA. I THINK EARLY TONIGHT WE\u2019LL SEE PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES MAY SEE A BIT OF AN INCREASE IN CLOUDS LATE TONIGHT. SO WE\u2019LL GO BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN PARTLY AND MOSTLY CLOUDY OVERNIGHT. TONIGHT, TEMPERATURES WILL SETTLE DOWN TOWARD THE MID 40S. FIRST THING TOMORROW MORNING AT 7:00 AM. PROJECTING A TEMPERATURE OF 44 IN GREENSBURG, 45 IN UNIONTOWN. LOOKOUT WARMS UP TOMORROW AFTERNOON NEAR 70 DEGREES BY 430 AND 5:00 IN THE AFTERNOON, PROJECTING 68 IN CRANBERRY, 70 IN BEAVER, WASHINGTON, AND 71 IN WAYNESBURG. HERE\u2019S FUTURECAST PLAYING IT OUT FOR YOU HOUR BY HOUR. FIRST THING TOMORROW MORNING, A PARTLY CLOUDY SKY SHOULD HAVE SOME TIMES OF SUNSHINE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. PRETTY NICE MONDAY. TOMORROW THERE WILL BE A WARM FRONT LIFTING THROUGH THE AREA TOMORROW NIGHT. WITH IT THERE COULD BE A WAVE OF A FEW SHOWERS AROUND 11:00 ON MONDAY NIGHT AND THEN INTO THE DAY ON TUESDAY WILL MAYBE DODGE A SHOWER OR TWO IN THE MORNING, BUT THERE\u2019LL BE A DECENT CHUNK OF THE, SAY, MID MORNING THROUGH LATE AFTERNOON TIME FRAME WHEN IT WILL BE RAIN FREE BEFORE WE\u2019LL INCREASE THOSE RAIN CHANCES AGAIN LATE TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY 70. Increased shower threat mid-week Shower chances will be increasing mid week.  A slow moving boundary with some waves of energy will slowly cross Wednesday and Thursday.  Wednesday and Thursday will not be wash out days&#8230;but both will include a period of showers that will dampen things up.
