NAZARETH, Pa. – Police in Nazareth, Northampton County say a driver pulled a gun during a road rage incident.<\/p>\n
A man visited the Nazareth Police Station on April 27 shortly before 1 p.m. to report a road rage incident where a man had pulled a gun, according to a news release from the Nazareth Borough Police Department.<\/p>\n
The man told police his vehicle nearly collided with a truck that was passing by as he was pulling out of a driveway, borough police said.<\/p>\n
The driver of the truck, who stopped and began yelling at the victim, threatened to physically harm him, according to borough police.<\/p>\n
Borough police say the situation escalated when the man got out of his truck, and the victim saw that he was armed with a handgun, making threats to shoot.<\/p>\n
The victim feared for his safety, raised his hands, quickly left the area, and sought refuge at the police station.<\/p>\n
Following a thorough investigation, the man was identified as Vincent Ferraro, according to the news release.<\/p>\n
Police charged him with terroristic threats, simple assault, and harassment.
