A quick hit of some Pittsburgh Steelers-related stories that may not require a complete article, but nuggets worth mentioning and passing on to you guys.<\/p>\n<p>Your Depot After Dark for May 4.<\/p>\n<p>HEIDENREICH BEHIND THE SCENES<\/p>\n<p>The Steelers were part of <a href=\"https:\/\/steelersdepot.com\/2026\/04\/incredible-eli-heidenreich-describes-viral-draft-moment\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">one of the best moments during<\/a> the 2026 draft. They selected Navy\u2019s Eli Heidenreich in the seventh round, and the moment clearly meant a lot to him. Not only is he a Pittsburgh native, but he was at the draft, so he got to share that moment with people he cares about in the city he grew up in.<\/p>\n<p>NFL Films captured that moment behind the scenes\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NFLFilms\/status\/2051353928084623396\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">shared<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NFLFilms\/status\/2051353928084623396\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0it on Twitter.<\/a> It offers insight into the conversation between Heidenreich and Omar Khan, and it shows the young player celebrating with his family. It\u2019s incredibly sweet, and it makes a good moment even better.<\/p>\n<p>PITTSBURGH TEAMS HELP CITY<\/p>\n<p>Pittsburgh hosted the draft this year, a massive event. It was a resounding success, breaking the event\u2019s attendance record. The draft may be done, but support for the city continues. This time, the Steelers aren\u2019t the only professional team involved.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/penguins\/status\/2051372992953713128?s=20\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Pittsburgh Penguins shared on Twitter<\/a> that they, the Pittsburgh Pirates, and the Steelers are working together to help their city during June. Their goal is to support the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. While the Pirates are the only ones still playing, it\u2019s nice to see all of them helping the city.<\/p>\n<p>STEELERS FANS QUIZZED ON IRELAND<\/p>\n<p>The Steelers made history last year by playing in the NFL\u2019s first regular-season game in Ireland. They defeated the Minnesota Vikings, and hopefully that\u2019s not the last time they play in the country. Although it won\u2019t happen this season, the Steelers still have a strong connection with Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>Michael McQuaid of Steelers Ireland put that to the test recently, though. He quizzed Steelers fans on Ireland in a <a href=\"https:\/\/youtube.com\/shorts\/xNtTichMKUU?si=cXfmUCudrzo5b1M_\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">video the team posted on YouTube.<\/a> Some people did alright, while others struggled more.
