Summers’ fellow squad members flocked to the comments to celebrate the duo’s long-awaited “hard launch”<\/p>\n
Cooper DeJean<\/a> and Abby Summers<\/a> hard-launched their romance in style this weekend at the Kentucky Derby<\/a>.<\/p>\n In a TikTok shared on Saturday, May 2, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, 25, flaunted her floral, tiered dress<\/a> and festive ribbon-topped hat alongside the Philadelphia Eagles’ cornerback, 23. He complemented Summers’ look in a double-breasted beige blazer over a white T-shirt.<\/p>\n “Derby timeeee\ud83d\udc0e,” she captioned the brief clip, which was soundtracked by audio of the Kentucky Derby’s signature bugle call. That same day, the pair were photographed together iat the Churchill Downs racetrack.<\/p>\n Several of Summers’ fellow DCC squad members showed their support for the relationship reveal in the comments of her TikTok post. “Derby day aka hard launch day \ud83d\udc0e\ud83d\udc98\ud83d\udcab cuteeee,” wrote fifth-season cheerleader Kleine Powell<\/a>, 26. Michelle Siemienowski<\/a>, 24, added, “BEEN WAITING ON THIS\ud83e\udd29.”<\/p>\n According to her bio on the official team site<\/a>, Summers started dancing at age 2 and began competing at 7 years old, training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and tap. She went on to dance at the collegiate level at Ohio State University, where she helped the team win six national championship titles.<\/p>\n In addition to her spot on the prestigious NFL cheerleading squad, Summers has appeared in the team’s hit Netflix series America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.<\/p>\n DeJean was selected by the Eagles as a second-round draft pick in 2024.
