A roughly two-decade-old pub has gone up for sale in the Lehigh Valley as the owner prepares to retire.<\/p>\n
Braveheart Highland Pub, at 430 Main St. in Hellertown, has been priced at $3.8 million, according to a listing from realtor Justin Kline<\/a>. The sale would include the business, the real estate and the liquor license.<\/p>\n Announcing his retirement Tuesday morning<\/a>, owner Andy Lee said, \u201cBraveheart has been a very important part of our lives for the last 20 years. This decision hasn\u2019t come lightly, but I think it\u2019s time for a new chapter in my life and frankly I\u2019m looking to simplify life going forward. Braveheart is going strong. We have a great staff. We have great customers and I will not sell [Braveheart] to someone that wants to change the operation or what it stands for! There\u2019s no rush on this from my standpoint and I will be very selective on who\/if anyone I move forward with down the path of selling it!\u201d<\/p>\n Lee opened<\/a> the pub in December 2006<\/a>.
