The organization hosted a sold-out Mother’s Day Tea, offering a supportive event for mothers who have experienced the loss of a baby or child.

Organizers of the event said that while Mother’s Day is often associated with celebration it can be one of the most difficult days of the year for bereaved mothers. That’s why the foundation designed an annual event centered on connection, remembrance and compassion.

The Mother’s Day Tea featured food, live music, a variety of remembrance activities, opportunities to create keepsakes in honor of their children, massages, a flower bar and even memorial tattoos.

“This day can feel incredibly heavy for mothers who are grieving,” said Chloe Ciferri, founder and executive director of the foundation. “We wanted to create a space where their motherhood is acknowledged, where their children are remembered, and where they can be surrounded by others who truly understand.”

Beyond the activities, Ciferri said the free event provided an opportunity for this community of mothers to come together. The gathering creates space for shared stories, quiet reflection and meaningful connection, allowing attendees to support one another while honoring both their children and their identity as mothers.
