\n\t\t\t\t\t\tBreeze Airways announced Tuesday it will now offer three new direct flights out of Pittsburgh International Airport.Starting Tuesday, the airline said Pittsburgh travelers can book flights on Breeze from PIT to the following destinations: Vero Beach, Fla. (nonstop on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays starting Oct. 1, from $89* one way) Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. (seasonal nonstop on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays starting Jan. 7, from $179* one way) Cancun, Mexico. (seasonal nonstop on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays starting Jan. 7, from $179* one way) The announcement comes as Breeze, according to the release, prepares to celebrate its fifth birthday this month, marking five years of “redefining what affordable air travel looks like.””We are thrilled by the growth we have seen in Pittsburgh and are excited to start offering international service to guests in the area,” David Neeleman, Breeze Airways\u2019 founder and CEO, said in the release. “Vero Beach, Punta Cana, and Cancun are destinations we know our Guests will love, and we can\u2019t wait to welcome them onboard.”Breeze currently operates more than 300 year-round and seasonal routes to 88 cities in the United States, Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.
