READING, Pa. – A crash involving two vehicles and a motorcycle briefly shut down part of Route 422 eastbound in West Reading on Monday.<\/p>\n
911 dispatchers say emergency crews were sent to the scene just before the Penn Avenue exit, where communications officials confirmed a multi\u2011vehicle crash with injuries. The eastbound lanes of the highway were closed for a period of time while first responders worked the scene.<\/p>\n
The roadway has since reopened.<\/p>\n
Authorities have not yet released details on the number of people injured or the extent of those injuries.<\/p>\n
