{"id":185030,"date":"2026-05-06T04:50:14","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T04:50:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/185030\/"},"modified":"2026-05-06T04:50:14","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T04:50:14","slug":"campbells-announces-acquisition-of-49-interest-in-la-regina","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/185030\/","title":{"rendered":"Campbell\u2019s announces acquisition of 49% interest in La Regina"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecampbellscompany.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">The Campbell\u2019s Company<\/a> in Camden has completed the acquisition of a 49% interest in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.laregina.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">La Regina<\/a>, the privately held maker of Rao\u2019s Homemade tomato-based, jarred pasta sauces.<\/p>\n<p>Based in Scafati, Italy, and founded by Antonio Romano in 1972, La Regina has been a key partner of Rao\u2019s Homemade since 1993 and produces all Rao\u2019s Homemade tomato-based sauces today.<\/p>\n<p>La Regina also operates a facility in the U.S. in Alma, Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur investment in La Regina and partnership with the Romano family reinforces our commitment to preserving the artisanal craftsmanship of Rao\u2019s sauces,\u201d said Mick Beekhuizen, Campbell\u2019s president and chief executive officer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cConsumer loyalty and ongoing household penetration expansion are born from what makes the brand special: exceptional taste quality ingredients and a restaurant\u2011quality experience at home.
