Firefighters were busy on Wednesday morning after flames tore through, at least, two rowhomes in Philadelphia’s Kingsessing community. <\/p>\n
At about 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, NBC10’s Skyforce10 captured footage of fire crews working along the 1600 block of South 54th Street in Kingsessing.<\/p>\n
Black soot could be seen scarring the facade of a pair of rowhomes on the block and windows on the second floor of one of the homes were broken out, as pieces of the windows and screens littered the roof of a porch on the home.<\/p>\n
A man was seen talking to fire crews as he was taken to an ambulance and laid onto a stretcher as firefighters moved in and out of the buildings. <\/p>\n
However, contacted early Wednesday, officials did not immediately provide additional details on this incident, nor did they say if anyone was injured in the fire. <\/p>\n
