“This is a call beyond denomination, race or title,” the news release stated. “Our city, our country, our government needs prayer more than ever. We are gathering to take our faith beyond the walls and into the streets, declaring God\u2019s peace, justice and revival over our communities.\u201d<\/p>\n
When is the prayer walk?<\/p>\n
The prayer walk will take place Nov. 1 from 3 to 6 p.m.<\/p>\n
The starting location will be Greater Calvary and the event will end in Perry Square.<\/p>\n
Where are the stops?<\/p>\n
Prayers will be offered throughout the walk for justice, police, local and federal government employees and leaders, judges, schools, families and neighborhoods, organizers said.<\/p>\n
The walk will begin at 2624 German St. The church is near the site where Marchello Woodard<\/a> was fatally shot July 2 by a state parole officer, event organizers said.<\/p>\n Friends and family of Marchello Woodard, who was fatally shot in Erie, celebrate his life during a July gathering outside the Erie County Courthouse. The courthouse will be a stop on a Nov. 2 prayer walk.<\/p>\n The walk will then head to the Pennsylvania Parole Office<\/a> at 221 E. 18th St.<\/p>\n The next stop will be the Erie Federal Courthouse<\/a> at 17 S. Park Row.<\/p>\n Walkers will then move to City Hall<\/a> at 626 State St.<\/p>\n The next stop will be the Erie County Courthouse<\/a> at 140 W.
