BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA \u2014 A Pennsylvania Turnpike bridge repair will close a highway for two weeks starting on Monday, PennDOT said.<\/p>\n
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission will perform the weeknight bridge repair on northbound Old Lincoln Highway.<\/p>\n
Drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:<\/p>\n
During the closure, drivers traveling westbound Route 132 (Street Road) will be directed to use Richlieu Road and Rockhill Drive. <\/p>\n
Drivers using northbound Old Lincoln Highway will be directed to use Route 132 (Street Road), Rockhill Drive, and U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway).<\/p>\n
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or along the detour routes because backups and delays will occur. <\/p>\n
All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.<\/p>\n
The Pennsylvania Turnpike will complete this work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.<\/p>\n
