A restaurant in Pittsburgh is under Consumer Alert after an inspection by the Allegheny County Health Department found 14 total violations.<\/p>\n
An inspection on Tuesday by the Health Department shows Caribbean Village Fusion on Cable Place in Oakland shows four of those violations are considered \u201chigh-risk\u201d.<\/p>\n
Those high-risk violations include multiple dirty food contact surfaces, including two dirty knives hanging with clean knives at a sink.<\/p>\n
Also, unlabeled canned goods found in dry storage. Those cans were thrown away during inspection.<\/p>\n
Several foods in cooler were \u201ccooling incorrectly\u201d, including undated, cooked chicken in a metal container temped at 43 degrees. <\/p>\n
White rice was also found between 80-90 degrees in a covered metal container and no cooling charts were found.<\/p>\n
Two decomposed rodents were found with one under the mop sink and one in a closet near a freeze in a side room.<\/p>\n
Old rodent droppings were also found on the floor, along the restroom and on shelving. <\/p>\n
Ants were also found in a back, side room.<\/p>\n
The Health Department says the facility has 10 days to correct all medium and high-risk violations.<\/p>\n
If those violations remain, the restaurant will be ordered closed.<\/p>\n
