ALLENTOWN, Pa. –\u00a0Family members of an Allentown man who was gunned down say they are in shock and looking for answers.<\/p>\n
A man was found shot to death in his garage in Allentown Wednesday night, police said.<\/p>\n
Officers were called around 8:15 p.m. to a garage in the unit block of S. Leh Street for a report of an unresponsive man, police said in a news release Friday.<\/p>\n
There they found Joshua Kressler, 42, dead of a gunshot wound to the body, said the Lehigh County coroner’s office.<\/p>\n
An autopsy was performed Friday and his death was ruled a homicide, the coroner said.<\/p>\n
Allentown police, the Lehigh County district attorney’s homicide team and the coroner’s office are investigating.<\/p>\n
Authorities did not comment further on what happened or if any arrests have been made.<\/p>\n
“We need to get justice for him because nobody deserves this,” said\u00a0Kippi Kressler, Joshua’s sister, who spoke with 69 News over the phone.<\/p>\n
She says her family is reeling and says they just found out Friday Joshua had been shot.<\/p>\n
Kippi says Joshua always put others before himself and was a loving father to two young boys.<\/p>\n
“He was an all-around good guy. He would give the shirt off his back. He was loving. He was caring. His two little boys were his world,” she said.<\/p>\n
