A 19-year-old man accused of firing a gun inside a Bensalem restaurant in late April turned himself in to police on Thursday, according to Bensalem Township police.<\/p>\n

Almost a week after police said they obtained an arrest warrant <\/a>for Landon McMahon, the 19-year-old turned himself in to police in connection with a shot fired inside the bathroom of Asad’s Hot Chicken.<\/p>\n

The incident happened on April 27, 2026, at the restaurant located on Knights Road in Bensalem Township.<\/p>\n

Officials said when they arrived at the restaurant, they found a hole in the wall and bullet fragments on the floor.<\/p>\n

According to police, 11 people were inside the restaurant when the gunshot was fired.<\/p>\n

As part of the investigation, detectives reviewed CCTV footage from inside the restaurant and used township intersection cameras and License Plate Reader (LPR) technology to identify McMahon as the suspect.<\/p>\n

Police said McMahon drove away from the scene in a newer-model Infiniti sedan.<\/p>\n

Bensalem Police obtained an arrest warrant for McMahon, charging him with recklessly endangering another person, firearms not to be carried without a license and other charges.<\/p>\n

According to officials, the Middletown Police Department tried to conduct a traffic stop on McMahon while he was driving an Infiniti sedan. However, he fled from police, leading to a pursuit that officers called off in Bristol Township due to safety reasons.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, May 7, 2026, McMahon was arraigned on the firearms charges in Bensalem and the fleeing and eluding charges in Middletown Township.<\/p>\n
