Millcreek Township is launching its annual spring-cleaning efforts this May, giving residents several opportunities to responsibly dispose of waste, leaves, and hazardous materials throughout the month.<\/p>\n
Residents can also schedule bulk item pickups online through Waste Management.<\/p>\n
In addition, a special collection event will take place at the Millfair Compost Center on Saturday, May 16, from 9 a.m. to noon. The event will allow residents to dispose of items such as tires, appliances, and scrap metal.<\/p>\n
Jessica Stutzman, Director of Community Relations and Sustainability, Millcreek Township: \u201cWe do ask that residents just stay in your vehicle because we have a lot of staff assisting to unload your car, and we try to make it pretty painless. I will say, there is always a rush at the beginning of the event at 9:00 AM. If you come at, you know, 10:00 or 11:00, then the line slows down a little bit so we can process you quickly.\u201d<\/p>\n
