Bee‑Inspiring Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting pollinators and promoting environmental stewardship, visited Whitfield Elementary School as part of the school’s Earth Day Celebration to engage students in hands‑on environmental learning. During the visit, the Foundation donated 580 birdhouses and delivered an engaging school‑wide assembly presentation focused on the importance of pollinators and their role in sustaining healthy ecosystems.

Through the interactive presentation, students learned how pollinators, including bees, butterflies, birds, and other wildlife, support biodiversity and food systems, and how simple actions they can take can help protect pollinators in their schools and communities. The birdhouse donation provided a meaningful, hands‑on experience that allowed students to immediately apply what they learned while supporting local wildlife habitats.

“Wilson Senior Emilee Koch, founder of the Bee‑Inspiring Foundation, made a tremendous impact during Whitfield Elementary School’s Earth Day Celebration,” said Mr. Chad T. Curry, Principal of Whitfield Elementary in the Wilson School District, West Lawn, PA. “Her engaging presentation educated and inspired our 580 students, and her foundation’s generous grant enabled them to build and decorate birdhouses as part of a hands‑on learning experience. She truly brought the ‘Global Goal for Life on Land’ to life and empowered our students to care for their local environment.”

“Presenting to the students and then working alongside them as they built and decorated their birdhouses was incredibly meaningful,” said Emilee Koch, founder of Bee‑Inspiring Foundation, Inc. “Seeing their excitement and creativity showed just how powerful hands‑on learning can be. When students understand how pollinators and wildlife connect to their own environment, they become proud stewards of that space—and that’s exactly what we hope to inspire.”

“This visit was about making environmental education meaningful and memorable,” said Tracie Koch, President of Bee‑Inspiring Foundation, Inc. “By combining education with action, we hope to inspire students to feel proud of their role in protecting pollinators and to recognize how small efforts can create lasting environmental impact.”

Bee‑Inspiring Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting pollinators and promoting environmental stewardship, visited Whitfield Elementary…

[11
128,130,129
post-187182","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-reading","tag-reading-city","tag-reading-city-headlines","tag-reading-city-news
["GET
