{"id":187839,"date":"2026-05-09T06:08:16","date_gmt":"2026-05-09T06:08:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/187839\/"},"modified":"2026-05-09T06:08:16","modified_gmt":"2026-05-09T06:08:16","slug":"2-arrested-guns-drugs-recovered-during-search-outside-pittsburgh-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/187839\/","title":{"rendered":"2 arrested, guns &#038; drugs recovered during search outside Pittsburgh business"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 Pittsburgh police detectives arrested two people and seized contraband during a search early Friday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">It began with an investigation outside a business in the 1600 block of Brownsville Road in the Carrick neighborhood, police say.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">After search warrants were obtained, detectives arrested two people and recovered seven guns, cocaine, four bundles of heroin, two bricks of heroin, marijuana and more than $5,600 in cash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Police say Pittsburgh residents Mello Williams, 24, and Matyus Stewart, 19, are facing gun and drug possession charges as a result.
