Three Philadelphia men have been charged following a road rage incident Friday in Haverford during which a gun was allegedly pointed at the victim.<\/p>\n
The road rage incident began in the area of the first block of East Township Line Road in the area of West Chester Pike, police said in a news release.<\/p>\n
Haverford police said Tynief McDaniel, 22, was charged with making terroristic threats, simple assault and narcotics violations; Tyseem Stubbs, 21, was charged with firearms and narcotic violations; and Ahmad Jackson, 20, is facing narcotic charges.<\/p>\n
According to police, at 10:03 p.m. Haverford officers were dispatched to Township Line Road and State Road in Upper Darby for the report of a road rage incident that occurred in Havertown. Haverford was advised that the suspect vehicle was stopped in Springfield Township.<\/p>\n
During the altercation, one of the suspects reportedly pointed a gun at the victim, police said. As a result of the investigation, the three were charged.<\/p>\n
Charges against Stubbs included possessing a firearm with the serial number altered, making illegal repairs to make a firearm, carrying a weapon without a permit.<\/p>\n
He was arraigned before District Judge David R. Griffin, who set his bail at 10 percent of $250,000.<\/p>\n
McDaniel was charged with narcotics as well as harassment and simple assault. He was held on 10 percent of $75,000 bail. Court records on Jackson were not available.<\/p>\n
Stubbs and McDaniel are scheduled for a preliminary hearing May 20 before District Judge Elysia Mancini Duerr.
