ALLENTOWN, Pa. – United States Congressman Ryan Mackenzie visited WFMZ-TV studios Tuesday.<\/p>\n
He was here to record an interview for a special edition of “Business Matters.”<\/p>\n
The congressman from the Lehigh Valley sat down with Tony Ianelli.<\/p>\n
The pair discussed the big issues impacting the Valley as Mackenzie seeks re-election to a second term.<\/p>\n
The Republican talked about finding consensus with Democrats in Congress on some issues.<\/p>\n
“You have to work in a bi-partisan fashion. And so, on just about every single piece of legislation that I’ve introduced, I’ve actually sought out a Democrat on the other side to be a co-lead on the legislation. And most of the time we’ve been able to find someone to work together in a bi-partisan fashion,” Mackenzie said.<\/p>\n
