IUPAT District Council 21\u2014the NEPA chapter of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades\u2014recently endorsed Scranton mayor Paige Cognetti\u2019s campaign for Congress in Pennsylvania\u2019s 8th District against Republican Congressman Rob Bresnahan.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The union, which represents over 6,000 members in the finishing trades across the region, is throwing its support behind Cognetti because it knows she stands with organized labor, supports collective bargaining and will advocate for workers and their families in Congress.\u00a0<\/p>\n
