WILL STILL SEE SOME RAIN SHOWERS COMING IN THROUGH THE NEXT HOUR OR SO. GETTING WARMER OVER THE WEEKEND, AND WE\u2019RE TOPPING ALMOST NEAR 90 AS WE GET INTO THE START OF NEXT WEEK. SO THE SUMMER LIKE AIR WILL BE ON THE WAY. IT\u2019S GOT TO GET THROUGH. EVEN TOMORROW IS GOING TO BE A TAD COOLER IF YOU DON\u2019T HAVE THE RAIN SHOWERS, YOU DO HAVE THE CLOUD COVER AROUND. AND WE DO HAVE THIS RAIN STILL INTO OHIO THAT\u2019S GOING TO BE FILTERING IN AS WE PROGRESS THROUGH THE MORNING. LITTLE BATCH STILL HOLDING ON THERE NEAR MONROEVILLE, EXTENDING UP. IT\u2019S GOING TO CLIP NEAR THE BELMONT AREA, EVEN INTO ALLEGHENY, NORTHERN PORTIONS OF WESTMORELAND COUNTY. IT\u2019S BEEN PRETTY STEADY AND CONSISTENT, THOUGH. MERCER VENANGO CLARION JUST NORTH OF 422. NORTHERN BUTLER. ANOTHER ROUND OF SOME LIGHT RAIN ENTERING INTO WESTERN PARTS OF LAWRENCE COUNTY. EVEN NORTHWESTERN PORTIONS OF BEAVER COUNTY RIGHT ON THE BORDER THERE, 57 DEGREES. AS YOU WAKE UP IN PITTSBURGH AND WASHINGTON, A LITTLE BIT COOLER WHERE THAT RAIN HAS BEEN SETTLING IN 53 IN BUTLER, 52 CURRENTLY INTO FRANKLIN AND CLARION, 55 IN GREENSBURG THIS MORNING IN UNIONTOWN, SITTING AT 58. AS WE LOOK AT YOUR FOUR DAY FORECAST, WE\u2019LL HAVE SOME STORMS COMING IN WITH THIS COLD FRONT TODAY. SOME OF THOSE STORMS COULD TURN SEVERE BEHIND THIS FRONT GETS A LITTLE BIT COOLER. SO WE NEED TO DUST OFF THOSE COATS AGAIN FOR TOMORROW. THE NICE THING IS THE MORNING TEMPERATURES ARE STAYING ABOVE FREEZING. SO NOW THAT YOU CAN PLANT AND DON\u2019T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT COVERING THOSE PLANTS UP, WHICH IS SOME GOOD NEWS. CAN\u2019T RULE OUT AN ISOLATED SHOWER ON THURSDAY. STRONG WIND GUSTS, HEAVY RAIN AND SOME LIGHTNING CAN\u2019T BE RULED OUT WITH SOME OF THESE STORMS. THERE\u2019S AN ISOLATED RISK FOR SOME OF THOSE STORMS TO TURN SEVERE WHERE WE COULD HAVE SOME DAMAGING WIND GUSTS. EITHER WAY, I THINK A LOT OF US ARE GOING TO BE BREEZY THROUGH THE DAY, 25 TO 30 MILE PER HOUR WINDS. YOU GET A STORM, THOUGH. THOSE WINDS COULD PICK UP JUST A LITTLE BIT HIGHER. SO LET\u2019S TIME OUT THE RAIN. THIS IS 630. THAT\u2019S THE RAIN INTO OHIO THAT I SHOWED YOU THAT WILL CONTINUE TO PUSH THROUGH. AND THEN AS WE GET LATE MORNING AND INTO THE EARLY AFTERNOON, A LITTLE LULL IN THE ACTIVITY, BUT ON THE QUIET SIDE. BUT THAT FRONT\u2019S GOING TO DEVELOP AND IT DOES LOOK LIKE IT WILL INTENSIFY AS IT MOVES EASTWARD, COMING IN AROUND 12, 1:00 NORTH OF THE CITY. SO WE\u2019RE TALKING LAWRENCE MERCER VENANGO CONTINUING TO PUSH INTO BUTLER BEAVER CLARION AROUND TWO, 3:00, JUST ON THE EDGE THERE, NORTHERN AND WESTERN PARTS OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY AS IT GETS INTO WESTMORELAND AGAIN, IT COULD INTENSIFY FIRING UP SOME OF THOSE STRONGER STORMS INTO WASHINGTON AND GREENE, EXTENDING UP INTO INDIANA AFTER 5:00, 6:00, THOUGH, IT MOVES OUT. IT\u2019S IN AND OUT QUICKLY, BUT IT COULD PACK A PUNCH, SO JUST BE PREPARED FOR THAT LATER ON THE DAY, ESPECIALLY AS KIDS ARE COMING HOME FROM SCHOOL, GETTING INTO THURSDAY. LIKE I SAID, A FEW ISOLATED SHOWERS, A SPRINKLE OR TWO, ESPECIALLY EAST. MOST OF US WILL JUST BE DEALING WITH THE CLOUD COVER AND THAT COLD AIR THAT WILL BE IN PLACE. BUT THE COLD AIR IS SHORT LIVED.
