READING, Pa. \u2014 Inside Santander Arena, crews are getting everything ready for one of the biggest business events of the year.<\/p>\n
The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance annual dinner, now in its 113th year, is bringing together more than 800 business and community leaders.<\/p>\n
The night is focused on networking, recognizing local leaders and setting the tone for the future of business in Berks County.<\/p>\n
\u201cI really enjoy sharing my stories of things that I learned at NASA,\u201d said former NASA astronaut Mike Massimino. \u201cHopefully it\u2019ll be entertaining. I\u2019ll try to keep it light because this is kind of a fun crowd, from what I can tell.\u201d<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s keynote speaker is former NASA astronaut Mike Massimino, a veteran of two space missions who is now sharing lessons from space with leaders here on the ground.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhether you\u2019re an astronaut or you\u2019re a ground controller or an instructor or engineer in the space program, everyone has the same mission,\u201d Massimino said.<\/p>\n
His message is focused on embracing change, something he says is critical whether in space or in business.<\/p>\n
