The committee also sent letters to the Philadelphia police commissioner and the Philadelphia sheriff, also asking about \u201csanctuary policies.\u201d<\/p>\n
Krasner said he has spoken with the city’s attorney and the sheriff.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not going to get into what the various legal conversations have been because of privilege, but yes, we are in communication,\u201d Krasner said.<\/p>\n
The sheriff\u2019s office had no comment. The city said the solicitor will handle a response to the committee\u2019s request. <\/p>\n
Krasner said he is giving both a formal and a \u201cPhilly\u201d response.<\/p>\n
