Troopers said officers were called to a drowning at the Best Western Plus Intercourse Village Inn &amp; Suites on East Newport Road in Leacock Township around 6:04 p.m. on Monday, May 11. The Lancaster County coroner identified the infant as A&#8217;zara Beckett of Coatesville, Chester County. The coroner ruled her death accidental and determined the cause was freshwater drowning. State police said Beckett was found unresponsive inside a hotel room and that the incident did not happen in a pool. She was pronounced dead at the scene after unsuccessful resuscitation efforts by first responders, according to the coroner. Authorities said the mother is cooperating with the investigation.
