MOOSIC, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE\/WYOU) \u2014 The Scranton\/Wilkes-Barre Railriders fall 7-4 in extra innings to the Syracuse Mets in Game One of this home stand.<\/p>\n
The Railriders would allow one walk in the top of the second, giving the Mets the early 1-0 lead. Syracuse would tack on another in the top of the sixth as Hayden Senger<\/a> would hit a solo home run to extend the Mets<\/a>\u2019 lead to 2-0.<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n The Railriders would get on the board in the bottom of the sixth with a sacrifice fly by Marco Luciano<\/a>, allowing Kenedy Corona<\/a> to score from third to make it a 2-1 Syracuse ball game.<\/p>\n Scranton\/Wilkes-Barre would take their first lead of the night in the bottom of the seventh when Jonathan Ornelas<\/a> blasts a two-run homer to left field.<\/p>\n Shortly after, in the bottom of the eighth, the Railriders would double their lead with a solo home run from Seth Brown<\/a>.<\/p>\n However, Syracuse would tie the game in the top of the ninth, sending the game into extra innings.
