{"id":192578,"date":"2026-05-14T20:06:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T20:06:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/192578\/"},"modified":"2026-05-14T20:06:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T20:06:09","slug":"pennsylvania-sex-offender-found-living-in-florida-woods-captured-by-us-marshals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/192578\/","title":{"rendered":"Pennsylvania sex offender found living in Florida woods, captured by US Marshals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The U.S. Marshals Service captured a Pennsylvania sex offender after he was found living in the woods in Florida.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Marshals say Joseph Christopher Mazzoni, 46, had been wanted by Pennsylvania State Police and the Pennsylvania attorney general\u2019s office since March 9 on child pornography charges. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Mazzoni has been convicted twice for sex crimes and was previously convicted of having child pornography in Delaware County, marshals say. He was categorized as a Tier 3 sex offender and, under Megan\u2019s Law, must register his residency for the rest of his life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Mashals believed Mazzoni was living in Florida and getting help to avoid law enforcement detection.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Authorities executed a search warrant in the 2300 block of Crawford Avenue in Naples on Wednesday morning.
