(WOLF) \u2014 Drivers in Scranton should expect detours and traffic delays as crews work to permanently repair a sinkhole tied to a previous water main break.<\/p>\n<p>North Main Avenue will be closed between Green Ridge Street and Clearview Street beginning at 7 a.m. Thursday through Friday evening, weather permitting.<\/p>\n<p>Officials say the repair is connected to a water main break that was temporarily fixed in April.<\/p>\n<p>While through traffic will be restricted during the work, local access in the surrounding area will still be allowed.<\/p>\n<p>Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and use caution near the construction zone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA CO.
