Representative Ryan Bizzaro announced this funding boost on May 14; this funding is a grant through the state\u2019s Foundations in Industry (FIT) program.<\/p>\n<p>This funding will support childcare pre-apprenticeship programs for 30 high school students each year giving them access to employment connections, preparation for necessary credentials, and training supplies.<\/p>\n<p>The FIT program which is administered by the Department of Community and Economic Development, assists schools, training centers, and various other organizations throughout the state to support these necessary programs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Pennsylvania is delivering $270,000 to Erie County in efforts to boost apprenticeship program enrollment in childcare.
