Scranton police arrested a New Jersey woman in a prostitution sting on May 2, according to a criminal complaint.<\/p>\n
Nataly Mambuscay-Fossi, 25, of Newark, faces charges of engaging in prostitution, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.<\/p>\n
According to the criminal complaint, as part of an undercover operation targeting prostitution on a specific website, Scranton Police Street Crimes Unit officers identified Mambuscay-Fossi as offering sexual services in exchange for cash.<\/p>\n
An officer posing as a client set up a meeting with Mambuscay-Fossi at an apartment building on Lackawanna Avenue. She agreed to exchange sexual services for $300, police said.<\/p>\n
Police set up surveillance near the apartment building and spotted Mambuscay-Fossi arriving, wearing a red tracksuit that she had identified over the phone.<\/p>\n
Officers moved in and arrested her.<\/p>\n
Police searched her purse and found a metal grinder containing marijuana residue and multiple condoms.<\/p>\n
Officers then searched Mambuscay-Fossi\u2019s vehicle and found rolling papers, a plastic grinder and a baggie containing psilocybin.<\/p>\n
Mambuscay-Fossi admitted the bag contained hallucinogenic mushrooms.<\/p>\n
Police determined she had three prior convictions for prostitution.<\/p>\n
