Col. George Bivens, acting commissioner of the Pennsylvania State Police. \u201cI am beyond proud to officially welcome this dedicated group of women and men to our PSP family, as they prepare to join our mission to keep our communities safe and uphold the law across the Commonwealth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Four cadets received special awards at Friday\u2019s ceremony.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Trey Quinones received the American Legion Award and the Colonel Ronald M. Sharp Leadership Award; Cole B. McAnulty received the Gesford High Pistol Award and the Daniel F. Dunn High Scholastic Award; Thomas T. Bolesta received the John K. Schaefer Memorial Award; and Colonel Paul J.
