This funding has enabled CCS to purchase a van that will address critical transportation needs within the Congolese community in Scranton. Transportation has long been a significant challenge for many Congolese families in the area. The newly acquired van will serve as a vital resource, facilitating access to essential services and opportunities, including transportation to Philadelphia for immigration appointments, rides to and from work for individuals unable to drive, reliable transportation for medical appointments and community youth events, and training programs that promote personal growth and development.
