READING, Pa. – Police in Reading are investigating an incident that sent a man to the emergency room after being stabbed half a dozen times.<\/p>\n
It happened just before 4 a.m. on Saturday when Reading Police were called to the 300 block of McKnight Street for a reported stabbing.<\/p>\n
Arriving officers were alerted that the victim was transported to Reading Hospital in a personal vehicle.<\/p>\n
Investigators say 26-year-old Saul Hernandez-Lopez allegedly approached and confronted the victim about an incident between the victim and Hernandez-Lopez’s girlfriend.<\/p>\n
A witness described seeing a knife in the suspect’s hand as Hernandez-Lopez and the victim began physically fighting.<\/p>\n
Once the fight was over, police say the victim noticed his injury and went to the hospital, where it was determined he’d been stabbed six times.<\/p>\n
